About Me - More Detail.

Hi. I'm Gary. And before you think 'oh here's another google adsense click through blog' - think again. Ok, so the ads are there, and yes, if they interest you then please do click through. If not, just read the blog and maybe consider leaving a comment. If you have your own site, im sure the blogger form for commenting will allow me to click on your name and be transferred.

That aside.

Music is my primary hobby. I have developed to a relatively amateur standard, mainly learning how to put stuff together by myself. Ok, so its taking what seems like forever, but I kid you not, the feeling that I get when someone says 'you've improved', is one of shock. 'Really?' you hear me saying, because all I am doing is what I love.

I personally own a Yamaha PSR-262 keyboard. Just 61 keys, 100 midi sounds, 100 drum patterns, and 100 snippets of songs. Nothing too fancy - but I was only 16/17 at the time, and even then, I had to put some of my 'birthday money' towards it because it was more expensive than my sisters present (we were often having similar amounts spent on us even though i'm almost 2.5 years older). It has even helped me out as a back-up keyboard for purposes of live performances from time to time.
Update: That keyboard has since been replaced by a newer Yamaha keyboard, this time with additional features that I am still learning about at the moment. Will update this section further when I understand more about it

Also, I own an electric guitar (do not ask me the make or the model, it was one that belonged to my oldest brother before he decided that he didn't want it any more... lol), and an acoustic guitar - I know its a Stagg Make, but model, again, I have no idea. It is one that should in theorey be able to plug into an amplifier or mixer.
Update: Now there is no electric guitar around - I have since had 2 and both have been sold on to better homes (where people will actually be able to use them to their full potential). Leaving me with the Stagg semi-acoustic that I now own.

Musically I've been developing slowly over 15 years, and only more recently (within the last 9 months or so), I have taken it to a new level, using software to enable me to record multiple tracks, and even 'self-produce'.

Yes, producing my own songs. Until my laptop decided to break. Once it is fixed I have no doubt I will continue striving to develop my production skills.

But thats me in a nut-shell. Apart from the fact I work for Gala Bingo, I am a number crunching 'nerd' and I like to spend my spare time on facebook in a chatroom. Oh, and I love making friends. I don't bite, because I had all my teeth out (yes, ok, heard all sorts of jokes about it within a day or 2).
